A diver was bumped by a shark in the State’s South West, prompting a warning for beachgoers.
A warning has been issued for Gnarabup boat ramp near Prevelly after a shark was spotted around 4.30pm on Tuesday.
A diver was diving for rock lobster, approximately 30 metres offshore, when they were bumped by a 2.5 metre white shark.
The diver did not sustain any injuries.
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development urged people to take additional caution in the Gnarabup boat ramp area and to adhere to any beach closures.
DPIRD officers along with staff from other agencies are currently monitoring the situation.
