The Clydeside Expressway is set to close for several nights this week and into the weekend for roadworks .

The A814 is to be closed off westbound from Finnieston off-ramp to Hayburn Street, from 8pm to 6am every night until Saturday (November 22).

The road was also shut for roadworks last night (November 17) until 6am this morning.

Drivers are being advised to plan alternative routes while roadworks are being carried out.

A signposted diversion will be in place during these times that will direct traffic around the roadworks, which are allowing for high friction surfacing to the carriageway.

Firstbus services affected include the 1, 1A, 1C and X4.

Diverted bus services will exit the Expressway at Finnieston Off Ramp, stop at Finnieston Street, Stobcross Road and Castlebank Str
