Can Aldi’s $40 Thanksgiving meal bundle truly serve 10 people?
Two reporters from The Canton Repository's sister publication in Akron, The Beacon Journal, decided to find out. Because we know you're curious, too, we thought we'd share their experience in case you were thinking about giving it a try. Below is the experience of Beacon Journal reporters Tawney Beans and Kerry Clawson.
We purchased, cooked and served the meal bundle to 10 Beacon Journal staffers, ourselves included, to test the international grocery chain’s claim. You may be surprised by our findings.
The bundle comes with a total of 21 products, which together make 11 dishes and accompaniments. Items can be purchased in person or online for curbside pickup or delivery, though in any case, items are selected individually.
