Sribhumi: Assam remembered its dearest music star, Zubeen Garg with a day full of heartfelt tributes as his 53rd birth anniversary was observed across the state today. Though this is the first time people celebrated the day without him, the love and respect he earned over the years could be felt everywhere in songs, in memories and in small acts of kindness carried out in his name.

A special programme was organised at Sombhusagar Park in Sribhumi by the Zubeen Garg Smriti Mancha. The event drew a large crowd of admirers who came to pay their respects.
