I am filled with disbelief at the constant attacks on Sussan Ley’s leadership and the revolving door of the leadership of the Victorian Liberal Party – we didn’t even get to know Brad.

The problem with the party and its coalition with the National Party is that it is now too polar in views to stand for anything. Its breadth of stance on climate change, immigration, law, Indigenous Australians and net zero is so wide that no matter what decision is made, there will be disgruntled elements within the party. This leads to a boilover when polls are released
