Emily Scharf says her life has been transformed by Kiwanis International forever.
Kiwanis International confirmed Scharf as the next president of the New Jersey District of Kiwanis International in front of a large crowd of family and friends in September, marking a milestone in a journey that started in a Circle K Club 25 years ago.
She is currently finishing her term as the club’s vice president before starting her new role, which carries a four-year term.
“I’m looking forward to bringing resources back to our communities,” Scharf said.
She was unanimously elected by her peers of the foundation.
