Dr Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent of SMGS Hospital, said that the exercise to verify lockers was already underway but has now been intensified in the wake of the Delhi blast.

“We were already conducting this exercise, but it has been intensified after the Delhi blast. Today as well, we broke open the lock of an almirah in the presence of security officials. We have constituted a four-member committee to supervise and conduct these checks,” he said.
