ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The woman accused of fatally shooting her mother in January 2024, has been found incompetent to stand trial at this time.

At a competency hearing on Monday, Ashley Ginette Keenan was ordered to undergo treatment at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare Hospital for 12 months, unless changed by the court.

Ashley is charged with murder, aggravated murder, and felonious assault for the death of Krityna Keenan.

Krityna, 60, was found dead in her driveway on Jan. 11, 2024 in the 3300 block of State Rd., according to Ashtabula County Sheriff deputies.

Ashely turned herself in to Canadian authorities in Toronto on Jan. 13, 2024.
