New figures from Social Security Scotland show more than 960,000 people received financial support through 15 devolved benefits during the last financial year. The 2024/25 Annual Report and Accounts show that Adult Disability Payment (ADP) now supports more than 465,000 disabled people, while Child Disability Payment was paid to 97,000 children and their families. ‌

More than 200,000 families on low incomes received Scottish Child Payment , a Scotland-only payment, supporting over 326,000 children. ‌

The annual Client Satisfaction Survey, published alongside the Annual Report , shows that of those surveyed, 91 per cent said they were treated with kindness, 84 per cent said their experience with staff was ‘very good’ or ‘good’ while 87 per cent felt they were listened
