AHMEDABAD: In a tragic incident, four persons, including a baby, were killed after an ambulance caught fire in Gujarat. The accident occurred when the ambulance was carrying the baby and family to a hospital in Ahmedabad. Three others in the ambulance suffered burns and are undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. today. The ambulance, belonging to a private hospital, caught fire about a kilometre away from Modasa town. A doctor, a nurse and a newborn baby are among the deceased. The exact cause of the fire is still unclear. Officials said that this will only be clear once the forensic team's report is received.
