Plans have been submitted to change the use of a home in Peterborough . Sipora Worrall submitted a planning application to Peterborough City Council on November 11 which, if approved, would see the home at 42 Alexandra Road converted into serviced accommodation.

The detached two-bedroom property would operate as a 'home-from-home' residence accommodating hospital staff, professionals, contractors, lone workers and small families (including those with children or additional needs) seeking short to medium-term stays.

Planning documents stated that the property had been empty for a significant period of time and was held in probate.

"The property had been vacant for an extended period prior to and during probate following the previous owner's ill health and long-term hospitalisation,"
