WASHINGTON — The House overwhelmingly voted Tuesday afternoon to force the Justice Department to publicly release its files on the late financier , the culmination of a monthslong effort that has overcome opposition from President and Republican leadership.

The final vote was 427-1, with Republican Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins as the only no vote.
