As Thanksgiving Break approaches, USA Reads, a national literacy organisation, is teaming up with local Food Pantry groups in New York to deliver children’s books to families facing hardship. This unique partnership aims to provide children from low-income backgrounds with access to books, helping to spark a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Ms. Green, Project Coordinator at USA Reads , highlighted the importance of the initiative: “It os the perfect time to put children’s books into the hands of kids who may not own a single book and to spark a lifelong passion for reading.” This year, USA Reads is collaborating with food pantries across the country to ensure as many children’s books as possible are included in the food baskets distributed to families in need.
