FAYETTEVILLE -- The No. 21 University of Arkansas men's basketball team (3-1) stayed put in Monday's Associated Press poll. That wouldn't have been the case had the Razorbacks not pulled out a 79-75 win Friday against Samford, which turned too close for comfort in the final seven minutes.
"Trying to teach them how to win a game when you're at that point," Arkansas Coach John Calipari said Friday. "We ran an offense where we were moving the ball just to use time and then go into it. And no one went into it. They all just stood and like, 'Throw me the ball.'
"My fault. Because we've done it, but we haven't done it enough to really drill it."
Arkansas welcomes Winthrop (2-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Walton Arena, the third of a four-game homestand.
