The Brain Dead Live collective returned to Sandbox Brewhouse on Nov. 8 with another carefully curated night of live music, pairing Baltimore’s Truth Tables with Frederick’s own Brother Rust. The show unfolded inside Sandbox’s intimate room, illuminated by warm lights and framed by oil paintings, the sound of chiming pint glasses, and a mixed-age crowd ranging from mid-20s to 60s gathered close to the stage. It was the kind of setting where every note seemed to linger a moment longer than expected.
