Haryana sets ambitious sex ratio target, suspends health officers for negligence

Chandigarh, November 18, 2025: Haryana has set a state-wide target to raise its sex ratio to 920 this year, with the government taking strict measures to ensure accountability. Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, directed district administrations and health officers to work in close coordination and intensify efforts to achieve this goal.
