Assembly Member Stacey Pheffer Amato announced on Monday her decision not to seek re-election in 2026. She was first elected to represent South Queens and the Rockaway Peninsula in Albany in 2016 in a seat previously held by her mother for nearly a quarter of a century, Queens County Clerk Audrey I.
