One man was killed and a second was left badly hurt after a shooting near a Chickie’s & Pete’s in South Philadelphia on Thursday evening, according to a spokesperson with the police department. NBC10’s Kelsey Kushner has the story.
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man -- and charged him with murder and related offenses -- after a double shooting last month along Packer Avenue at Broad Street in South Philadelphia left one man dead and put another in the hospital.
According to police, on Monday, investigators apprehended Abou Keita, 22, in a parked vehicle along the 2200 block of South Felton Street in Southwest Philadelphia. He was taken into custody without incident, officials said.
