Stephan Katzmann has been appointed as chief financial officer at Munich-based production and distribution group Beta Film . He will start in April.

At present, Katzmann serves as chief financial officer licensing and distribution at Leonine Group.

He will take over from Maria Kaltenegger , who, after six years on the Beta Film’s management board, will return to the financial auditor KPMG.

During her time at Beta as chief financial officer, responsible for finance and controlling, human resources and IT, Kaltenegger has “made significant contributions to the further development of the group and its strategic direction in times of growth and profound transformation,” according to a statement.
