European TV and film giant Fremantle has seen its revenues slide in the first nine months of the year.

According to results published Monday by the RTL Group, which owns Fremantle, revenues were down 5.1% to €1.3B ($1.5 billion) over the same period in 2024. RTL put the reduction mainly down to “lower revenue from the U.S.” alongside “phasing effects” that were party offset by Fremantle’s acquisition of “Death in Paradise” production company Asacha Media Group in early 2024.

RTL added that the decrease in revenue from the U.S. was “largely expected,” as the first nine months of 2024 had benefitted from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” spinoff “Fantasy League,” which ran for one eight-episode season.
