Fairbanks police arrested a 19-year-old man Saturday following a shooting in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Kobe Brynndon Perry Dillard-Bennett faces three counts of felony first-degree weapons misconduct, three counts of felony third-degree assault and felony tampering with physical evidence charge.

According to court documents, Fairbanks police responded to Lowe’s around 3 p.m. Saturday after a couple reported they heard shots fired in the parking lot and saw two cars speeding away. The couple was leaving Lowe’s through the exit near the lumber department when they said they heard three gunshots in rapid succession. They said they heard a fourth gunshot that sounded like it passed over their heads. The couple ducked down and called 911. Fairbanks police found a single 911
