LINCOLN Neb. (WOWT) - Coming off the bye, Nebraska jumps into game week as they prep for Penn State.
While the Nittany Lions season (4-6, 1-6) has not gone as expected, the Huskers (7-3, 4-3) will need to be ready one of college football’s toughest environments: a night game at Beaver Stadium.
“We’ll go play on NBC, national TV. Do I love getting back at three-in-the-morning then playing on Friday at 11:00am? Yeah.” Rhule said with a smile. “We’ll go do something tough.”
The game holds unique meaning for Matt Rhule. The Huskers head coach not only played for the Nittany Lions, but met his wife Julie there and began his coaching career under Joe Paterno.
