CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group of suspects tore through a stretch of Hyde Park's business district early Tuesday morning, breaking into five storefronts and burglarizing at least two, police said. Now, the search is on for the suspects.

The first three break-ins happened between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 1600-block of East 55th Street, police said.

A fourth break-in took place at 3 a.m. in the 1600-block of East 56th Street, and a fifth happened at about 5:07 a.m. in the 1600-block of East 55th Street.

Huaraches Mexican Restaurant remains open for business on Tuesday despite suffering a setback. Their front door is missing after being shattered during a break-in.
