In Brian Qvale’s senior year for the Williston Coyotes back in 2007, the 6-foot-11 big man was named North Dakota Mr. Basketball and was labeled the Male Athlete of the Year for the state of North Dakota. Qvale averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists, leading the Coyotes to a conference title and 22-4 record in that senior season.
After four years playing Division 1 hoops and eleven years playing professionally all over the world, Qvale has hung up the high tops and has become instead one of tallest employees in the medical sales field. “I started working for a medical sales company – Arthrex,” reported Qvale. “I help surgeons with their camera systems and implants in the operating room. I also was able to build a real estate portfolio during my career, so I manage that as well.”
