A staggering 35,000 cricket fans are fleeing the UK to head Down Under for the Ashes which start on FridayIt will be the biggest Barmy Army ever. And for the first time in Australia the Barmy Army have been allowed to sit together which could create an extraordinary atmosphere.
At the 2017 tour they were forced to sit in sections all over the ground and the 2021 series was affected by the pandemic. So the first test in Perth on Friday could see a huge turnout.
