Coronation Street fans were left crying 'no' as they were offered an update on what's to come with Carla Connor and Lisa Swain.

Those who follow the ITV soap have been worried for the couple, affectionately known as Swarla, following the return of Lisa's previously 'dead' wife.

In September, Becky made a shock return into Lisa's life, almost four years after she thought she had been killed in the line of duty. The detective sergeant was stunned to find her former partner in the living room of her new home, No.6, on their daughter Betsy's 18th birthday.

Her return came after Lisa and Carla had moved into their first home together, and officially got engaged after a number of failed proposal attempts.
