A New Windsor man pleaded guilty Nov. 14 in Orange County Court to a charge of rape dating back to May 2020.

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced Dominic Mamaat , 46, of New Windsor, pleaded guilty to first-degree rape, a felony.

According to Hoovler, Mamaat was charged in May 2020. In October 2020, he fled the jurisdiction.
