ST PAUL, Minn. — A large contingent of armed federal agents deployed in downtown St. Paul Tuesday morning, carrying out an operation as an angry crowd gathered.

Armed agents wearing vests from ICE and the FBI massed outside a building that houses Bro-Tex LLC. While it is unclear what the mission of the action is, a crowd of protestors on the scene grew larger and more agitated.

A man who identified himself as Jesus Trejo told a KARE 11 photojournalist that his father, Isaias Villagrana Flores, and uncle were taken into custody after agents entered the business. "They took my dad, he comes to work, he supports his family. A good guy, no criminal," Trejo said, fighting to hold back tears. Trejo said his dad called his mother and said agents "stormed" the building.
