Lucknow, Nov 18 (UNI) Assistant Professor Dr Farooq Ahmad Dar, posted at GS Medical College in Hapur, has been released by Delhi Police after seven days of questioning in connection with the terror module linked to the Delhi blast, sources said here on Tuesday.

He was picked up by the Delhi Police and security agencies late at night on November 12.

According to police sources, the initial inquiry suggested that Dr. Farooq may have been in contact with Dr. Parvez, the brother of the arrested terror suspect Dr. Shahin Shaheed.

Based on this information, the police questioned him on several angles. Officials also spoke to people associated with the medical college and members of his friend circle.
