CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 15-year-old boy has been charged in the shooting death of a 14-year-old girl Saturday near Twinsburg High School.
The youth was charged Monday in Summit County Juvenile Court with murder and tampering with evidence in the death of London Brown. Authorities said he shot London in a wooded area northwest of the high school at 10084 Ravenna Road on Saturday.
The incident began around 11:40 a.m. when London’s mother, Paris Lee, called police to report London had left their home with a firearm. During the eight-minute 911 call, Lee sounded panicked as she described what her daughter was wearing and explained the situation to dispatchers.
