Meet Ralph — a gentle soul with a story of resilience and heart. Ralph came to Animal Friends as a transfer from another shelter after being rescued from a home where seven dogs were living in difficult conditions. Having missed out on proper socialization, Ralph arrived shy and unsure of people — but he’s come a long way since then. With the help of our Behavior Team (and his favorite yellow ducky), Ralph has slowly started to discover that life can be filled with play, comfort, and kindness. Ralph is looking for a very special adopter — someone patient, understanding, and experienced with fearful or under socialized dogs, especially those from commercial breeding backgrounds.
