“Nothing significant is expected in Jammu and Kashmir till December 5th,” Mukhtar Ahmad, Director Meteorological Department (MeT), said.

Meanwhile, the valley experienced an improvement in the night temperature with the mercury in Gulmarg, a famous ski resort, settling above freezing point at 2.0 degrees Celsius.

In Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the minimum temperature settled at minus 1.8 degrees Celsius, while Qazigund, a gateway of Kashmir, recorded a low of minus 1.3 degrees Celsius.
