BENGALURU: The Karnataka weather department has issued a severe cold wave warning for several districts of the state. The effect of the cold wave is already intensifying over the past few days.

From November 18 to 21, cold winds will blow across many districts of the state and minimum temperatures are expected to be drop, according to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Centre.

From November 18 to 20, the minimum temperature in the northern-interior districts is likely to drop 4°C  to  6 °C below normal. Severe cold winds will blow in these areas and citizens is warned to take precautions.
