Austin Butler is responding to those rumors that he’s dating Emily Ratajkowski .

If you don’t recall, back in September, the 34-year-old model and 34-year-old actor were seen out together on two occasions.

Now, he’s revealing if they are dating or if they are friends.

“The true answer is that I have a lot of friends and we’re friends and we had dinner, and that we’re friends,” Austin told Vanity Fair .

About the public scrutiny surrounding his relationship status, he added, “I just wanted to hide.”

Around that same time, Austin faced other relationship rumors.

It was also speculated that Austin and his Caught Stealing co-star Zoe Kravitz were dating, but a source revealed the truth about the co-stars.
