Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor on Tuesday (November 18) took the blame for the party's debacle in the recently-concluded Bihar Assembly elections. He apologised for the party's massive poll rout.
"We tried very positively from our end. We failed to change this government. We tried a lot from our end, but it seems we failed somewhere. I take all the blame on me, as I failed to let people understand. We will do our introspection. I am sorry," he said.
The NDA stormed to power in the state, winning 202 seats in the 243-member assembly, with BJP bagging 89, JD(U) 85, LJP(RV) 19, HAM 5, and RLM 4. J an Suraaj Party failed to open its account in its maiden polls.
