THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the continuance of governance given to the LDF in the last election is what gifted Kerala’s major development achievements. He was speaking after inaugurating the LDF’s Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Election Convention, held in front of a large crowd that braved heavy rain to attend.

He said that if the UDF had come to power in 2021, the state would have moved backwards. "When the UDF left office in 2016, the state was lagging in all major sectors.
