SPOKANE, Wash. — Elected and faith leaders in Spokane are partnering with DoorDash to hand out Thanksgiving meals to local families in need this weekend.
The distribution will take place Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Raze Early Learning and Development Center (6519 N. Lidgerwood St., Spokane, WA 99208). Raze says they will have more than 250 meals available.
The event is sponsored by DoorDash, General Baptist Convention of the Northwest, the Spokane Area Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Fellowship and the Spokane Ministers Fellowship.
Leaders with the churches, as well as Spokane City Council President Betsy Wilkerson and Eastern Washington Congresswoman Suzanne Schmidt, will take part in the event.
