Donald Trump's loathing of the media is no secret.
Nor is his penchant for making disparaging remarks about women.
A recent ugly incident aboard Air Force One combined the two.
While he clearly enjoys the attention, since he became a presidential candidate in 2015, Trump's attacks on a free and fair press have been relentless. He immediately shoots down any story that dares to criticize him or his policies, such as they are, as "fake news." After being elected in 2016, he wasted little time in calling the media "the enemy of the people." The latter is particularly troubling, as it echoes the language of autocrats and dictators.
