With Chatham-Kent senior administrators recently meeting with a York1 representative, and given recently filed litigation, councillors heard an update on the proposed landfill and recycling centre in the Dresden area.
Emily Crawford, Chatham-Kent’s director of legal services, said Monday the municipality’s position is that if York1 proceeds with the project, that they follow the Planning Act approval processes that rest with council.
