PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - The Christmas tree lighting ceremony in downtown Paducah has been canceled due to weather.
It was originally set to start at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18.
According to organizers, they canceled the ceremony due for the safety of the public due to the threat of storms.

They say the tree lights will be turned on, but the official ceremony is canceled.
The 26-foot-tall Christmas tree is on Water Street in front of the large floodwall opening between Broadway and Jefferson Street.
