Police have launched a search after machetes were brandished in front of members of the public in a city centre.
Youths on two e-bikes - two of which were in possession of the large blades - confronted another group who were on foot outside the Council House in Old Market Square, according to Nottinghamshire Police, NottinghamshireLive reports.
Police said officers arrived at the scene, next to the city's Winter Wonderland event, within a minute of getting the call at 6.15pm on Sunday, November.
No injuries were reported and several people were searched but all the suspects had left the area, said police, who have released CCTV images in an appeal to the public to help find those responsible.
