The U.S. House of Representatives has voted overwhelmingly in favour of a bill compelling the Justice Department to release all files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Congress voted 427-1 in favour of releasing the files.

President Donald Trump indicated this week that he would sign the Epstein Files Transparency Act if it is passed by Congress – a dramatic reversal from his previous position.

The bill still needs to pass the Senate where, if any proposed changes come forward, it might have to go back for another vote in the House, which could delay release of the files.
