LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved Kentucky's request for disaster declaration following the catastrophic UPS plane crash in Louisville.

According to Gov. Andy Beshear, businesses in several counties affected by the crash can now apply for an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan.

"These small business loans will help businesses – and our people – recover, which is the support the Louisville community needs and deserves right now,” Beshear said in a news release.

The loan will be available for people in the following counties: Jefferson (Louisville), Bullitt, Hardin, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer counties.
