Some people opened Spotify, X (formerly Twitter), and OpenAI’s ChatGPT this morning to error codes due to a brief outage from internet infrastructure provider CloudFlare on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

A similar outage occurred in October, tied to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon's cloud computing service. The outage only lasted for a few hours, but CloudFlare told USA TODAY that some services will be “briefly degraded” post-outage, but the issue was “fully resolved” after a little over four hours of disruption.
