RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Reno Development Agency will be looking at a possible land transfer agreement between the state and Catholic Charities and the Reno Sparks Gospel Mission.

Two parcels on the Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services are also available, and under a new state law, about four acres of it can be transferred to Catholic Charities, while the Gospel Mission can get just over one acre.

Catholic Charities says it has been looking to expand its services for the last five years and that the state reached out to them for the land transfer.

The nonprofit says it has no intention of selling its current properties, rather this is an opportunity to expand its thrift store while serving more people.
