DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Dubois County Sheriff Tom Kleinhelter was at a quick hearing Monday in Plainfield to discuss what’s next with his law enforcement certification.

That’s according to the Indiana Capital Chronicle , which reports the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board’s decertification subcommittee could vote to remove Kleinhelter’s police certification.

They report all parties agreed to exchange initial discovery by December 30, with additional discovery due by the end of January and a two-day evidentiary hearing tentatively scheduled sometime around April 25–28.

As we reported, no charged were filed against Sheriff Kleinhelter after an audit showed a misuse of funds.
