A Wilson Area High School assistant football coach resigned Monday, a few days after a video circulated on social media where he allegedly made a racial slur.

The Wilson Area School Board accepted Jason Buckman’s resignation Monday, Nov. 17.

He was allegedly seen in a brief video clip using the “n-word” in what appears to be a road rage confrontation. It’s unclear who shot the video, what prompted the confrontation, and what happened before and after the racial slur was used.

Lehighvalleylive.com was unable to track down the source of the video, but it was circulated on social media on multiple Easton- and Wilson -based Facebook community group pages. The video has since been taken down.
