HARDY COUNTY, W.Va. — A $1 million lottery ticket was sold in rural Hardy County, according to the West Virginia Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at Misty Valley Grocery in Mathias, which is located on State Rt. 259 along the Lost River.

According to a release, the winning ticket matched all five numbers but not the Power Ball.

The winning numbers from the Monday drawing were 7, 33, 50, 57, 66 and the Power Ball was 23.

West Virginia Acting Director David Bradley says this is an exciting time for the game.
