SPOKANE, Wash. - Adam Stauffer, who pleaded guilty to injury hit-and-run on November 16, is set to be sentenced on Tuesday afternoon.
Stauffer, 28, hit a pedestrian crossing the street at an unmarked crosswalk on South Stevens Street on July 10 with his car. He then drove away to park before running away on foot, where police eventually caught and arrested him.
The pedestrian victim suffered severe injuries according to police, including facial and vertebrae fractures.
Stauffer is set to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
