NCIS is recasting a major character!

Dwayne Pride , originally played by Scott Bakula , will be making a return for the first time in four years, but he’ll be looking a little different.

The Special Agent character will be on our screens again on NCIS: Origins , per a new report.

Casting has begun to find a young version of Dwayne, according to TV Insider.

Scott played the role for seven seasons of NCIS: New Orleans , from 2014 to 2021.

The new actor hasn’t been revealed just yet, but will be appearing “later this season,” according to the report.

Austin Stowell plays the younger version of Mark Harmon ‘s Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the series.
